When Does the Change in Ownership Happen?

We are excited to be taking the reins of ZenCha’s operations on January 20th, 2025. 

Wait, I Thought This Was ZenCha Tea Salon?

It is—well, it was! We have renamed ZenCha Tea Salon to ZenCha Tea House as we transition to our cafe concept for the brand! 

Cafe Concept?

That’s right! In addition to the cafe we know and love in the Short North (982 N High St, Columbus, OH 43201), we are excited to be expanding our loose leaf tea program in stores and online to allow you to enjoy ZenCha teas at home, as well as developing a night concept called ZenCha Yoru that will offer a unique Asian street food and cocktail experience. More to come on this later in 2025!

Will the Menu Change? 

We have changes in store, but rest assured we will be paying homage to all the ZenCha classics! Going forward, our team will be using the highest quality ingredients and loose leaf teas—our in-house line! From hot tea to boba, matcha to lattes, we will be making beverages fresh for you. Joining our food menu will be new breakfast egg sandos and taiyaki, as well as an assortment of pastries.

The quality of your experience at ZenCha Tea House is critical to us. From ingredients to the equipment we use, we won’t compromise on our standards. We also have seen your feedback on visits in the past—and we’re committed to the quality and speed of service.

A Fresh Coat of Paint, and Then Some!

We will be working to update the cafe to allow more guests to enjoy ZenCha. We will be renovating during non-operating hours to ensure you have access to your favorite beverages. Keep your eyes out for an update when all the projects are complete, but in the meantime we are excited to share our renderings with you! 

Changes to Hours

The ZenCha Tea House hours will be changed to 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM Monday through Saturday. We look forward to starting our mornings with you!

A Place to Work

Looking for a place to work or study? We will be offering free WiFi to customers and welcome you to bring your laptop or meetings to ZenCha Tea House.

What About Gift Cards and Loyalty Points?

Any gift cards or loyalty points you have will still be honored at ZenCha Tea House. We have transitioned all gift card balances and loyalty points as of January 15th, 2025.
